Introduction to Collective Care two-part series

This two part series will lay the foundations for you and your team to strengthen collective care in your practices and processes. Our first session will be on 6th February, our second on 20th February. Both sessions will be held 1-3pm

You will be introduced to core principles of collective care and a range of tools that support with communication, relationship and team building, reflection and sustainability in social justice work.

Key topics will include:

• Core principles of collective care
• Collective care in organising and social justice work
• Boundaries teaching and reflective space
• Tools to support boundaries in practice and process
• Communication and care

Outcomes:

• Participants provided with tools, frameworks and approaches to bring back to their teams
• Understanding of key concepts around collective care, and the structural barriers to care
• Development of shared language around key concepts
• Provision of dedicated space for cross-sectoral reflection, peer-peer support, practice and relationship building
