Governance Administrator at The Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health

Administrative support to the College Governance & Committees team in the delivery of core College activities and the annual general meeting.

RCPCH are looking for a Governance Administrator to provide integral administrative support to the College Governance and Committees team in the delivery of core College activities and the annual general meeting.

Responsibilities

  1. Support the Governance and Committees Manager in the delivery of the logistics in relation to the Board of Trustees.
  2. To support on the Colleges members elections, appointments and appraisal process to ensure the process runs smoothly working with the Governance and Committees Manager and the Head of Committees as well as other team members. This will include:
  3. Supporting Governance and Committees Manager to ensure that the College Annual General Meeting (and subsidiaries AGMs) is supported to a high standard and in accordance with the College Regulations and Bye-laws.
  4. Assisting Committees/Governance Teams with general administration in particular supporting the tracking of diversity in RCPCH Committees and Volunteers and supporting the ongoing improvement of volunteer recruitment, retention and reward.
  5. Assist the Committees/Governance Teams in website editing, SharePoint, and various board platforms administration in order to enhance digital collaboration, streamline content management, and optimize the overall efficiency of our online presence. Undertake other tasks related to the organisation of Committees or Governance related matters as directed by the Associate Director of Governance. These tasks include but not limited to assisting with raising of purchase orders and the management of the Colleges contracts repository, and act as first point of contact for the Chair of the Board of Trustees

*The post holder will be expected to attend the Annual General Meeting (held regionally) which may require an overnight stay of a minimum of 1 night.
