Junior Membership Organiser at ACORN

As an Organiser with ACORN, you will be responsible for recruiting, developing and supporting members to take action on issues affecting them and the communities they come from. 

This could mean stopping evictions, winning housing repairs or safe accommodation for our members, or fighting for fair treatment at work.

Your daily work will involve

• contacting members who have left the union and recruit as many as possible of them back into the organisation
• recording and analysing data on our attempts to re-recruit members who have left the union in order to inform our retention strategy 
• building a proactive strategy around the prevention of churn whereby members most at risk of leaving are prevented from doing so
• creating and perfecting an exit series of emails designed to both win lapsed members back to the union as well as to gain honest feedback on their reasons for leaving and how they felt about being an ACORN member.
