This course is for the new, curious and established organisers. Perhaps this is the first time that something in your world has made you angry and hopeful enough to take action. Or you have been doing this work for a long time and want to get back to the fundamentals.

Not all organising works to transform the system for the dignity of all people. A lot of effective organising works to keep the system as it is, or significantly more hostile for communities. Our training however, is here to support people, teams and organisations who believe all of us can contribute to transforming our world. To win change so that all of us – no matter how much you have in your pockets, your race, your access needs, your gender or who you choose to love or worship – has freedom and dignity over our lives and the natural world.

In this course you will:

  • Learn what community organising is
  • Learn the role of an organiser
  • Learn what power means in organising
  • Learn how to build teams

Let's begin!
