Campaign Organiser at Migrant Democracy Project

To strategically liaise with national and local level politicians across the UK to obtain a legislative change to allow every resident to vote.

Online | 9 Oct 2024

The Campaign Organiser will strategically liaise with national and local level politicians across the UK to obtain a legislative change to allow every resident to vote. The Campaign Organiser will embed first-generation migrants’ lived experience of UK democracy into all their advocacy work. This role combines organising methods in enabling migrants themselves to advocate for the policies they want to see enacted.

We are looking for an experienced Campaign Organiser who is passionate about migrants’ rights and democratic reform to start working as soon as possible in October 2024.

We are looking for a Campaign Organiser who can work flexibly, including in out of office hours events where relevant. Most in-person work will be around Westminster, but the role can also involve occasional travel for events or meetings with stakeholders outside London. When work is carried out by any Migrant Democracy Project employee outside normal working hours, time off in lieu is applied.
