Community Organiser for Nature in Towns and Cities at Grapevine Coventry and Warwickshire

Nature in Towns and Cities is a programme to help deliver greener, healthier, more resilient and prosperous towns, cities and neighbourhoods. Overall the goal is for millions more people across the country to be able to enjoy time outdoors in nature, close to home. The programme wants to:

• Help 100 towns and cities across the UK significantly improve access to green space, and to create nature rich urban areas.
• Help address the challenges facing towns and cities in C21st especially health inequalities, climate resilience and inclusive growth.
• Unlock further investment to help local councils and communities achieve their ambitions together.

One of those 100 towns and cities is Coventry. You will be Community Organising in communities chiefly Hillfields where there is least access to green space, building the capacity of local people to lead change of their own and to be at the heart of shaping neighbourhood plans.
