Junior Membership Organiser at ACORN
ACORN is looking for a Junior Membership Organiser to build power to fight for social and economic change in England and Wales.

This role has a specific focus on organising with and increasing the representation of women members across our organisation. As such, it is a requirement of the position that applicants for this position are women.
We're looking for a Junior Membership Organiser to build the power of the union by boosting the size of our membership, retaining our existing membership and allowing ACORN to take on bigger and bigger campaigns, winning more and more for our communities.
As an Organiser with ACORN, you will be responsible for recruiting, developing and supporting members to take action on issues affecting them and the communities they come from.
The purpose of this role is
- To build, support and develop ACORN as a broad-based community organisation consisting of members, volunteers, and trained leaders organised in branches in low and moderate income communities
- To increase their capacity to act together on community, social, political and economic issues for the common good
- To recruit new members and lapsed members to the union
- To increase the engagement of members in order to improve membership retention and activity
- To support the National Membership Organiser to analyse data and form strategies around engagement and churn
