Lead Campaign Organiser at The Advocacy Academy
Come help build the power of young people to make change in the world!
Online / London | 10 Mar 2026
The Advocacy Academy is a home for youth organising in the UK.
Young people are often the catalysts for major social change, from the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee at the heart of the Civil Rights Movement, to the Soweto Uprising mobilising young people to resist the apartheid regime's education policies, to the Sunrise Movement redrawing the electoral map across America, and more recently encampments and protests across the world protesting the genocide in Palestine. How successfully they achieve real and lasting change depends on whether they are organised and whether they have the right strategy and tactics to be effective.
This is why we are looking for a Lead Campaigns Organiser who is capable of building the leadership in young people that enables them to turn the resources they have into the power they need to make the change they want.
The big part of this role is coordinating the HOST Programme, our in-house campaign accelerator and fiscal hosting programme. Through it, we have started to provide fiscal hosting, strategy and campaign coaching, fundraising and safeguarding support and a deep sense of community, in one dedicated package.
In our first two years, we’ve hosted three youth-led social justice campaigns - each launched by young people with lived experience of injustice at TAA. Since joining, each of these groups has had significant success, securing independent income to scale their work and hire organisers.
Now, it will be your job to help grow this programme to at least ten hosted groups, while improving our offer to all those involved through more targeted training, deeper community connections, and greater strategic support.
