Join Migrant Action to mobilise migrants, build grassroots power, and develop infrastructures for migrant economic justice.
Leeds | 24 Apr 2026
The Migrant Economic Justice Programme envisions a new economy that centres migrant empowerment, work rights, knowledge equity and employment, solidarity economies, regenerative wealth and the building of a new ecology of cultures, systems, practices that actualises migrant economic justice. This would involve building collective power for transformative system change, through grassroots organising, access to rights and resources, training & education, mentorship, developing partnerships and pathways, advocacy, coalition building & networking etc.
The Economic Justice Organiser will be part of broader team including the economic justice caseworker, research officer and CEO. They will play a central role developing and sustaining partnerships thereby integrating the organisation’s work with the wider migration economic justice movement. Although the focus of the role will be economic justice, the organiser will also feed into other aspects of migration justice organising. The role would require someone who has strong experience of grassroots community organising and building strategic collaborations, good knowledge of economic systems and experience of working/leading transformative initiatives.
